Interesting thing is, for me as a younger player the game feels quite Retro in style with more comedic and haphazard elements thrown in. (said exploding wizards for example) I hope you had as much fun as I have with the new 8e rules.

Great game and nice report - good to hear there's still room for random and comedic things to occur in 8th ed!

Personally I'm headed the other way (although I have nothing against 8th) and am gearing up to play my first game of 2nd ed!

Must admit I can't get my head round all the daft names for beastmen - Ungor sounds like something out of He-man!  ;D
