Hi there
« on: September 22, 2010, 08:38:01 AM »
Hi,

although I am following the forum for very long time, finally I decided to join in.

My name is Vasa, I am serb which lives and workes in Hamburg, Germany. I played earlier more the fantasy stuff, but now I am more on historical wargaming. Favourite time period is feudal Japan (I love my samurai), but other era are also interessting me.

So until some first posts, best regards,
Vasa

Hello and welcome, Vasa,

You're the fellow that ran the Seven Samurai game at GLAM, aren't you? With those crazy dice with the Japanese symbols on them? I managed to get most of your bandits killed with my poor leadership (though I am sure it was all really that Tellus guy's fault, or those damn dice).

It's good to (virtually) see you again.

Hi Vasa, welcome to Lead Adventurers.

I'm sure that you'll find lots of things here to keep you interested. And I'd love to see some of your Feudal Japan games and miniatures, so I hope you have pictures you can put up. Probably not just me - everyone loves Samurai!

I was one of the other English fellows who played the game, (with even less hair than Monsieur Plynkes). Good to see you here :)

Thank you for your kind words.

@Plynkes, Hammers, Malamute: yes, that's me. Had a nice time with you on GLAM. Hope to see you all soon again.

I will present my board on the Horisont II in Esbjerg, end of November. And I will try to make some better fotos too and put them here in forum. Some of them are here:

Good to have you sign on! Enjoy!

And the first Swedish King who killed a lot of people. Than took a ski trek (Aka Vasaloppet), than got home, killed some more people, got married and died crazy as hell.
He had a very long beard.

..and made a royal mess out of everything by appointing his offspring dukes of this and that, thus making them compete for the crown, thus ensuring that more people were killed. No fewer than four of his sons were kings of Sweden (and Poland, Finland, the Baltics etc) for a period, which must be in par with Byzantine politics. Oh, and and one of his sons knighted my ancestor so they weren't all bad. :)
