Bakerloo Line, London Tube
« on: October 10, 2010, 01:50:35 PM »
Baker Street & Waterloo Railway, better known as Bakerloo line of today´s London tube.

Fictious location between Oxford Circus and Regent´s Park for wargaming reasons.
The project: Fir wood, sand, some H0 gauge tracks, ceramic tile glue, walls and floors of ceramic from self made moulds, christmas tree lights and acrylic paint.
Scale is 28mm, size is 120x25x28cm and weight is 18kg.

Scale comparison...

That's stunning.

What an awesome setting for a game, fantastically dirty.

Absolutely stunning! I used the Underground daily in the 80's and 90's and remember some of the stations still looking like this even then.

Brilliant!  :-*

Out-friggin'-standing. Brickwork, lighting, multiple levels, and Basement Cat to loom over it.

I think you made this pictures in some real station and now you pretend that its a model and you put some fancy dress on some rubber doll to look like miniature.  ;)

Terrific model tube station, and the wings on the heroines are a hoot.

Bloody brilliant. You have got the grime and the dirt spot on. The lighting is perfect too. You have really captured the eerie feeling of the deserted platform at night.

Reminds me of the scene from "American Werewolf in London" or the one about cannibals living in the tunnels with Donald Pleasance, I forget the name.
"These creatures do not die like the bee after the first sting, but go on age after age, feeding on the blood of the living"  - Abraham Van Helsing
