Destroyed wagon?
« on: October 12, 2010, 01:23:55 AM »
My Google searching aint turning up much, does anyone make a 28mm wrecked/crashed wagon? I hate buying one just to destroy it....and as a side question does anyone know if the Foundry Indians are old or new size? (I hated the idea of starting two new topics  :?)
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

I am not aware of one, it looks like your only option is to destroy one.

The Foundry Indians are by Copplestone and are larger than his first releases. They got progressively bigger as the range expanded.

Perhaps you could build a crashed wagon using matchsticks? They are easy to work with and you can get appropriate wheels from Front Rank

I'd second Moif's suggestion - if you can get some spare wheels scratchbuild the body from plastic card.

I am sure there used to be one in the old Grendel resin range - but when I try to access images, I am getting spam/virus warnings.

Sorry I cannot be more help, but like others have suggested - a scratch built broken wagon may be the way forward.

Frontline does a wrecked wagon in resin. It's part of their old west line of terrain. I think in the states that RLBPS still carries the Frontline stuff.

It's not in their old west line, but in their "25mm Other Ranges" / "General Purpose Range". No pics, unfortunately. Another one of those manufacturers who seems not being interested in selling their stuff ...  :?

Thanks fellas I'll look into those (though finding some wheels & building may be the way to go), I want to convert the "Eagle Ribs Blackfoot Warband" into some spooky Indian types and I wanted to make sure they scaled up with the newer Foundry Cowboys & Artizan!

I think the Blackfoot warband was actually sculpted by Mile Owen at the same time as the Mountain men. Copplestone did the plains indians and the Apaches.
