Thanks guys!

@Leapsnbounds - the Sikh is "Akhun", a baddie from the Chaos in Cairo range.  Sadly no longer available from West Wind, but I think it will be re-released under Blue Moon.

He's been re-released from Four Colour Figs:

Hi, the Copplestone Gurkhas are as big as his Sikhs and Brits.

For smaller Gurkhas try Eureka's World War One range:

There is also a second pack of Gurkhas wearing shorts, but alas no photo.

These are cool, but I guess Eureka is on the smaller side?

Unfortunately the Eurekas are very small compared to the other ranges.

But then again real life Gurkhas I've met are also very small compared to Europeans, so its possible the Eureka might actually scale in nicely. If anyone has some of these figures it might be worth posting a scale comparison photo.

@Argonor - for the British I used Foundry Moss A, B, C.
For the Gurkhas, I used English Uniform, Khaki Grey, + white for highlights

Thanks for the pics.  Looks like the Eurekas will work if used in separate units from the rest.

Always happy to help (when I have anything meaningful to offer, that is!).

The Eureka Gurkhas have a few more poses than Copplestone.  When you order be sure to specify if you prefer shorts or trousers (I have half and half).  I like that they are noticeably shorter than the rest of my Indian army, just seems right for Gurkhas.

The rifles and bayonets are thinner than the ones that come with Brigade or Copplestone figures - to me they look more realistically proportioned but they are a bit more delicate.

I keep promising myself that I'll create a proper gallery of my toys, but it hasn't become a priority yet, so I'll just go with the impromptu updates for now!

Cheers

Will
