ACW2 Fire In The Valley battle 8

The bank robbing constitutionalists were located in the scrub oak forest just outside of town at their rondevu point at a moonshiners still. The 3 squads were somewhat surprised when the nationalist forces attacked. One squad of Consti's hightailed for the hills and took some fire, the other 2 were stunned when Commander Dons Pistolero's fired and charged. In a brief melee the Consti's threw down their arms and surrendered (both failed moral checks for the melee in spectacularly bad die rolls.) The police commissioner read them their rights; the right to be put in chain gangs, the right to do community service, oh, and the usual charges of mopery an dopery, running a illegal still and failure to have a proper outhouse...

Amazingly short battle.

WOW! They got smacked pretty hard there.

The communists and the Japanese both managed to lose the melee even though they outnumbers the Capay regulators.  Then they managed to fail their morale with a yo (11) and boxcars (12).
