...but I should finally cast it (because it is 99% finished already)  ;)

Would you make the periscope a loose part? To me it makes the thing to much mono-sub. Which role it might fill quite nicely as well, mind.

I'm not sure I like the gun in that position, it looks like it would be hard for a man to fit in there and work the gun in any much way.

Not totally happy with it either. I'll try to put the periscope on the gun position and mount the gun on the bottom of the ship.

I think that might do it, a lower mounted gun can be useful to indicate their flying nature as well I think.
