Sudanese Bazingers
« on: October 20, 2010, 06:34:01 PM »
I'm plan to use the Perry Sudanese Bazingers for Portuguese East Africa but I think they can also be used as auxiliaries/enemies in Guinea: http://hemerotecadigital.cm-lisboa.pt/OBRAS/IlustracaoPort/1908/N124/N124_master/JPG/N124_0022_branca_t0.jpg

What other theatres can they be used?

Bazingers? Really? Who let Dr. Seuss name an African tribe?

 :D

Do they have traditional enemies known as Bazoingers?

I've got some for a Darkest Africa "Turkish" slaver army in Equatoria. But that isn't really very far from what the figures actually are, given that such an army is really Sudanese rather than Turkish.

Possibly the Crimea? They would also suit the Russo-Turkish War. Mediterranean/Persian Gulf/Indian Ocean Pirates?

Anywhere you need an unsavoury gang of "Turkish" cut-throats, really  :D

Poor Horton... Not a tribe. They are actually an Egyptian irregular force made up of Sudanese.  :D

I think they would also "do" for Sudanese/Egyptian regulars who are a long way from home or in the service/defected to other leaders for DA games.

Excellent point.  I have a unit (in 15mm) that serves exactly thusly.
