I really like both ot them. To be picky I would have a spear tip sticking out of the rifle. Definitely use both types.

I think I prefer the trident as the gun looks a little too pulpy-retro.

I like the trident more than the Nemo gun. I like the idea of a harpoon, perhaps it can have some sort of electrical barb on it like the trident.
Don't!

After the zeppelin you will, of course, be making a full size Nautilus with removable deck sections.  Right?  :D

Great progress, really like the look of both guns, though I think I prefer the trident gun.

hmm, maybe a bit too modern, but can you remember the sonic weapons from Terror from the Deep?

Added a harpoon to the front of the gun

Still more work to do tidying up the hands and arms

Spare ammo for the harpoon gun

Weight belt added as well.

Ooooh yes, the gun looks much better now. The figure is coming along nicely, great work GM.  :)

The figure is looking really fantastic, and that Harpoon is looking so much better, that little point makes so much difference.

The trident looks great! The only thing I can think about for the gun may be to bulk it out. I know modern divers spearguns are skinny affairs but this might keep it more on line with the vsf stuff. Please excuse the picture I can't seem to turn it through 90degrees on this phone.

That's the only options extra I could think of...

Started a second diver

I am also in the middle of reducing the height of the original figures by chopping off the boots and redoing them.
