Image links to URLs

Anyone else having problems linking to URLs contained within images?

normal text links seem fine, bit if I click on a image link to something, it just comes up with the image, rather than the URL....

Are you using Photobucket? I think that one has a "Images link back to album" function enabled as standard, if I'm not mistaken. Or is it a general problem?

EDIT: Tried it with an image and a gallery of mine. Indeed, that's strange. Didn't we have a similar problem recently? I'll take a look through the About Forum section.

The current forum setup automatically displays images <= 800 pixels wide. You can find width="800" in the tags of large images if you dive in the html code. It also kindly converts all images to links to the full size version, overriding any existing link tags. I'm not a fan of this behaviour, but the alternatives aren't perfect either.

my url links aren't working, and the images are photobucket (and they are <75 pixels wide), and I noticed someone elses weren't working either (but theirs weren't photobucket).

Was working fine the other day, but not now, and its only an issue on LAF, not other forums I frequent, such as FoD, GWP etc

I have noticed the same problem with some images in signatures.

fixed that.

just put it like that:
