Were to buy conversion parts
« on: December 07, 2010, 06:25:38 PM »
Were to buy conversion parts, the rules in Strange Aeon and VUK give you scope to equip your agents and cultist, this cover guns and  swords and other things trouble is the cultist that we can buy will ether have medieval weapons or moden days guns so this mean converting miniatures.
Conversion don’t need to be cut and shape  laying a weapon on the ground or gluing across it back would do, just to say this is what am using, reason I do conversions is to remind me when am playing what the miniatures have on them by sight.

These are what we can buy in Europe.
The Pulp Figures range off  Evil Hooded Minions  cover the basics rifle, shotgun and machine gun, pistols, there are no swords bows or axes or spears.
And can be bought here http://www.miniaturicum.de/
The Artizan range is very sparse on weapons  they do flamethrower, machine gun and pistol ,there are no swords bows or axes or spears.
They can be bought here http://www.artizandesigns.com/
The West Wind cultist from there Vampire War range, don’t cover any modern weapons but have crossbows and hand weapon such as swords and bombs.
And can be bought here http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/
There is no rules for cross bows ,but the bow rules should cover them.

Here is a list of UK site’s that sell weapons for conversions.
This site you can buy swords axe and crossbows and they also so have some Reaper weapon sprues.

Here at Hassel free you can buy axe swords and Tommy guns

Here at Heresy they do axe swords and shotguns and pistols

Here  Warlords Games you can buy flamethrowers and rifles
http://shop.warlordgames.co.uk/world-war-ii-258-c.asp

At Gripping Beasts  you can buy heads and they do a range of weapons medieval weapons
http://www.grippingbeast.com/shop.php?CatID=2

Black Cat do a range of heads and tentacles
http://blackcatbases.com/

Wyrd games do tentacles .
http://wyrd-games.net/

Black Scorpion do a pirate weapon sprue.

That about covers my lists, I can’t find any one who makes sabres , but feel free to add to the list.

Great list...just wanting to add to it:

The Assault group does packs of WWII weapons seperate that are great for conversions.  I used their M1919 to arm my mummy with a machine gun.  The also have some swords and pistols that would be appropriate.  They offer free shipping on any order...not sure if that is anywhere in the world however...
