DUST prepaints and repaints...

DUST prepaints and repaints...
OK, a bit misleading since only the AT-43 walker on my site is a repaint...
;-)

I am a long time DUST fan. I read all the comics, I got the source books and even bought a 1/6 Playkit once...
That DUST now finally comes to the tabletop is IMO a real blessing. Being the fanboy I said I was foolish enough to order one of the Deluxe DUST Tactics sets. Boy are these prepaints good! specially the walkers need none or only very little retouches.
The only thing I do not like are the bases, so expect some re-basing soon.

Size comparison - AT-43 fits best!!! So get some of these cheap while you can... ;-)

More, including a AT-43 walker/ DUST comparison, here-> http://www.adpublishing.de/html/dust.html
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

I just picked up 2 Luthers with the 20mm ACs so I hope to start using them soon.  Does your reference book say what the crew complement of the Luther and Micky is?  The Luther looks like a single crewman but the Mickey looks like a 2 or 3.  They sure would look cool striding next to a 1/48 E100, huh?

DUST Source-book
Luther - 1 Crew
Micky  - 2 Crew

And yes, my 1/48 E-100 Dual 88'er should get a paintjob soon...
(We'll see, too much interesting projects at once..)  o_o 8)

It looks from your pics that the infantry (at least) is even less chunky and more 'to scale' (yes I know, with 28-32mm that's sort of a misnomer) or more finely detailed than the AT-43 stuff. Is that an accurate assessment?

The Mickey's gunner looks like he would be overworked dealing with a 76mm all by himself and duel 88s will ruin anyone's day that's for sure.

You are right. The DUST infantry looks a bit less blocky than AT-43 or other minis. More like Tamiya 1/48 infantry (smaller feet and hands etc.)
I like them a lot!

It'd be interesting to see how they size up against them.
