Number9's zombies + survivors (pic heavy)
« on: November 07, 2010, 04:36:10 PM »
Nothing we haven't all seen before, but I wanted to share as I'd been painting the little guys for a month or so and I've had enough.  lol

The pictures are a bit rough but the ones out of focus are just more of the same anyhow. I used a combination of Wargames Factory, Eureka, and Studio miniatures for these. The vast majority are Wargames Factory, and I did my best to make them look better than their origins without resorting to conversion. Comments welcome of course.

Thanks for looking!

These are excellent, thank you again for adding to what's been called here the "Magpie Syndrome". Ugh!

Great inspiration, I look forward to seeing your survivors.

Excellent - I have the Wargames Factory Zs myself, so it's great to see what's possible to do with them. As for the Studio zombies - I've had my eye on them for a while. They're great.

Fantastic painting and basing here - looking forward to seeing what's next.

Nice Zeds.  I am working on a similar project right now with some of the same manufactures zombies.  Mice to see others thinking along the same lines.

Well done!  Very nice paint.  And you've even managed to make those Wargames Factory zeds look decent....No small feat there!

Nice work, I'm beginning to like the rotting Eureka zombies more and more, they have a distinct feeling of old Italian zombie movies about them 8)

I don't have a blog yet, if/when I do, it will mostly be pictures only. I do have a gallery set up through my club's website where you can see a fair bit of stuff I've done over the last couple years.

I'll try and get some pics of all my survivors up here in this thread tonight. Thanks for the positive comments  :)

I like how your zombies turned out!  The chewed bits and old blood especially! :-*
Can't wait to see a battle report with photographs! :D

Now with added survivors! The usual suspects from Hasslefree, with a little Pulp, Heresy, and Alphaforge thrown in.

Thanks for looking  :D

Excellent survivors! Beautiful painting, and the Alpha Forge guy with the shotgun fits right in. The guy with the shovel is great too. Very smooth highlighting, and nicely unified. They all look like they're from the same movie!
