Lead free pewter - UK suppliers
(1/1)
Silent Invader:
Have run out of lead free pewter and need to resupply.
Thus far I've used that available from Alex Tiranti .....

......but with the price having gone up to over £40 (inclu postage) for the minimum order of 1kg I'm wondering about other sources.
Any suggestions, please? :)
Black Cat Bases:
If you are after small amounts talk to your local friendly miniature manafacturer metal is currently running at around £18-£20 +vat per kilo so even with postage you will save at least £10. We use MCP Mining & Chemical Products Ltd 1-4 Nielson Road Finedon Road Industrial Estate Wellingborough, Northants, NN8 4PE England

black hat miniatures:
I use Geo W Neale...

I'm currently paying about £1200 for 100 kilos of lead/tin alloy. Lead free pewter is much more expensive, but if you can afford to buy in bulk then MCP or Geo Neale's are much cheaper than Tiranti.
