I really need to get myself a casting set some day!

It looks like a very good cast, but perhaps a more intact wall would have been more useful? Those could have been broken down where needed, whereas this one might be obviously repeats if placed besides each other?

Sorry it to the moderators this post was meant to be under workbench, feel free to move it.

The intact sections and gate section should be up by next week.

Greg, I love your blog. Great scenery. Two quick questions:

1. How did you make your anti-tank barricades?
2. How did you make your buildings and bunkers? What material did you use? They are fantastic!

Terrible Tim, I am glad you like it.

The anti-tank barricades are made from old railway track cut into 15mm sections and then glued together. They are then glued onto the base. Painted with gunmetal and then dry brushed with rust(Humbrol).

The houses are made from laser cut 3mm MDF board glued and painted with water downed PVA glue, fine sand is then sprinkled over and painted.

The log bunkers are made from BBQ skewers glued to a base and gradually built up to final product. This technique can also be used for house for the Russian front. I will be doing some early next year and will do it step by step with photos.

Hope this helps?

Cheers
