"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I'm currently ordering a bunch of the FoA stuff for Vietnam, both vehicles (M113 and ACAV) and Infantry. Already got some of the infantry, nice if not totally crisp, but great value for money at 1 GBP per figure. Based on the other vehicles I have from FoA, those should be rather nice, but I'll add a short review once I get the items.

I have and ACAV a M106 Mortar Track and a Zippo from FOA. Lovely models with detailed interiors, the ACAV crew is very very good (ans I also have a bunch of their infantry, I love them). One problem is that the M113 are actually in 1/58 so they are a bit smaller than TAG (they produce a plain 113 and an ACAV) and Westwinf (I have two of their ACAV).

Still I mix them with my Corgi limited edition M48 without problem.

Eureka make two M113 variants. Company B (the one that's not a Sydney theatre troupe) make an Ontos. The people that took over the London Warroom lines make some vehicles.

FOA will be bringing out a few new Vietnam vehicles next year. Including a big M54 truck and guntruck!
Their US infantry is really great as is the ACAV crew.

Colonel,

sadly I do not have the pictures on this computer, but I think the two mix pretty well, I want to try on TAG ACAV sooner or later. One problem I had with both my two westwind ACAV was that only one M60 shield had been provided per track and I had to scratch build the other.

The TAG M113 is well done but it is also a bit "empty" I used seated troops from the westwind range to add some life to it.

I promise for the Xmas break i will take some new pictures and maybe I will be able to persuade my guests to have a couple of games!
