Starting two 15mm armies - advice needed.
« on: November 24, 2010, 03:33:36 AM »
Ok, all this talk about the new Tomorrow's War rules and 15mm minis made me turn to the Dark Side. I'm planning on creating 2 armies. One will be a kind of Neo-Sovie force. I'm still not sure what minis I'm going to use for the soldiers, but the vehicles and mechs are these (in no particular order):

The opposing force is going to be a NAC force using mostly the miniatures from GZG. The only exception is the MBT. I'm going to use this:

All the other tanks will be tracked variants, from GZG.

So...what miniatures do you guys recommend for Neo-Soviet soldiers? And what about basing? I saw some talk about these Renedra bases:

I'm also planning on using the New Israeli soldiers from GZG for a European faction, so they don't count as Neo-Sov choices, lol

Here is a possible choice for you from Rebel Minis in the USA;

I've got some Light Recon figures and I like them, but they seem too thin (or well-proportioned) to use with the GZG figures.
