Thanks Chris  I had entirely forgotten about early Crimson Skies,however that is the look I was trying to achieve. It also got me thinking (as this is an 1/48 scale 'plane),why not do a Crimson Skies game using 1/48 scale 'planes and heavily modified Wings of War? I have certainly got enough 'planes ,and the room my friends and I have our monthly stoushes in  is certainly big enough.......hmmm,a Westland Lysander escorted by an retrofied Beaufighter set upon by a TA 153 (Focke Wulf 153 jet fighter).......
