That's a fantastic job as usual Agis. When I see how you painted them I'd like to buy the game.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Your models are really nice, especially “Rosie”.
It’s getting harder and harder to resist to get some dust models.

But a "screaming eagle" on the Rangers? It’s a really nice touch that’s add a lot of character to the models.
And I guess that in 1947 or what ewer year it is, there´s nothing tougher than some Airborne Rangers.  :D

Keep up the painting, I love every picture of it.

The dust models are great. Look a bit like the AT43 stuff, is it the same sculptor?

I don't know about the sculptor, but Dust is what AT-43 was meant to be originally. Remember - AT-43 didn't originally mean "After the Trauma +43 years" but "Alternate Timeline: 1943". As I understand the prehistory of the older game, AT-43 was a collaboration between Rackham and Paolo Parente. I guess the similarities are more due to the illustrator Parente than the individual sculptor or sculptors.

...but on the other hand, I may be completely off the deep end regarding the sculptor - don't take my word for it until we actually know the names of the sculptors involved...

Recently got the DUST resin scenery:

(DUST walker, Sigrid von Thaler by DUST; Project X PA trooper from Project X)

Absolutely some of the best resin castings ever seen, the texture is amazing, I NEVER painted any stone/ concrete like model structure that comes out so real!
I simple primed them dark grey, dry brush medium and light grey, added some rusted metal here and there and applied some MIG "Fresh Rust" pigments. DONE!
Decals are also from DUST.

Agis

These look amazing. Love what you've done with the snow basing - the partial snow looking like frozen but thawing earth looks so much better than a full snow base. I fully intend to plagiarise the look for my own Dust Tactics armies! It's work like this which is inspirational - well done.

Was the illustration on 'Rosie' free painted, or a transfer? I wondered if you'd used water slides from a tank/aircraft kit? EIther way, it looks awesome and adds a superb piece of realisim to the kit.

Just bought a basic set for Dust Tactics. Even though my painting table's got jobs stacking up, I know it won't be long before I have to get at my axis and allies models having seen yours. I have printed pics of your work for inspiration and a painting guide!

Brilliant job.

Rob
