Best Wolfman in 28mm?
« on: November 26, 2010, 05:09:42 PM »
I just watched the 2009 Wolfman movie. It had a nice gothic feel around it. Can anyone recommend what 28mm miniature that would be the best representation of the beast=werewolf in clothes. Grateful for any advice!

Sorry confused by your request do you want 28mm werewolves or other werewolf movies?

If its miniatures then Westwind have a decent pack in their Gothic Horror range.

For other movies with a gothic feel then Curse of the Werewolf 1960 (?) with Oliver Reed.

Try the Mirlton wolfman, it comes in a pack of 3 figs called lycanthropes. I think they are old Grenadier figs. The wolfman looks very Lon Chaney jr  looking.   THE CID.

I got a freebie Reaper Wolfman at the Paint and Take at Fall In.  Very nice figure - will fit in well with the Scooby Do game I'm planning - YIKES!!!!!

For such a relatively straightforward and iconic character, it is surprisingly hard to find good Wolfman/Werewolf figures...

I reckon GW's Beorg Bearstruck looks a little like the wolfman...

I think Hobby Products wolfman is best. It's carried by mega miniatures nno.w

A wee bit ugly that one...I think the Reaper one is the winner so far  ;)

I think it's a decent miniature. Doesn't look any good in the photo though.

Suit yourself, I'm not into 30mm, 32mm or wherever reaper has landed.  :-X
