Well, I might just get something into this one, as I just started painting again yesterday.

Don't we normally make these threads at the closing of the month?

I'm no longer sure, though I did refrain from starting 'What I painted in January 2011', because I thought that maybe was pushing it just a bit too much.

Here are some of the figures I painted this month…

In this picture, you can see how big those Gnomes really are...

The Pulp Figures are for a commission work while I ordered the Gnome Wars French Cream Puff Mortar just to see what these figures look like "in the flesh". I like them and I’m pretty sure I will order some more soon.

I will edit my post during the month if I get the time to finish other figures.
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Three dozen figures in less than 5 days?  Wow!
Back from the dead, almost.

Wow - those Gnomes look like they should be 40mm or 54mm (since Gnomes are supposedly smaller than men).  They look fun though.

Very nice work Dany, as usual!

I have to admit I'm a big fan of Calimero's painting style. Those solid colours make his figures look like they were taken right out of a Tintin album. Keep up the good work!

Yours truly,

Sir Dryden

Ligne claire as applied to miniatures - hadn't thought of it that way, but it's true. Very nice.

Oh, and in the December painting achievements list: one (1) 28mm kilt in recognizable MacKenzie tartan. Looks pretty damn good, if I may be so bold. Thank Dog it's a single figure, not a whole bleeding unit of Highlanders!

I'm always delighted to see painted Hinterland.  But, whew, you should take out stock in Pulp Figures:o  Nice paintjobs all around.
