2024 Lead Tally: Acq: 013 Ptd: 055  Total: +042

Mostly Doctor Who stuff, shown in more detail at

But also Masquerade's "Mr S Klaus", as 'twas the season.

Back from the dead, almost.

@Dolmot. that Zoyberg Holmes is a conversion? and the big white thing?

Most of the minis are from RAFM's Lovecraft Country set, that is, a collection of Dunwich Horror characters. Another paintjob of those was seen here a few years ago, done by iago. I added a few more tentacles to the horror to blend its parts better together. No other modifications there, I think.

The consulting detective is from Black Cat Bases. He sometimes arrives when the game is afoot. (To be honest, he was a filler mini to get started again after too much real work and a break from painting. Don't ask, what made me think it was a good idea to include both check and pinstripe patterns to a quick filler mini. Almost ended up to the Thread of Woe...)

The stumps are hard plaster casts by Foundations of War. Needed some work, but turned out alright, I think.

All this stuff has now been added to the 2010 summary too.

I got a few things done in December, I also made a visit to Eureka and added a few more Gendarmes including ones on unbarded horses to my leadpile

I bought these 8 a while ago but finished them just before Xmas and have made a start on the unbarded ones now

Also finished off another unit of Arthurians by Artizan

Got this little lot done.   haven't done the bases yet as I like to do them all at the same time.   (when I say 'like' I really mean endure)  ;)

Lovely stuff.

The Prussians are particularly impressive! I have a few myself, but not quite that many... Especially not painted!!!  lol

Just to prove that I am not just selling off stuff, here's the 10mm minotaurs that I converted/painted between Christmas and the New Year

I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.
