Anything that GW ended up doing for their nid's would work for these guys, (as they were first out the mould so to speak). Some people stick with Alien black which works well as is their and the nid inspiration.

My Helions are black with silver highlghting. Very fast, and gives them some resistant steely look.

The heavy armoured marines I painted german field grey with black outlined olive green tiger stripes. A bit time consuming, but satisfying.

Hello everone. (Hi Inso  ;))

I'm a little bit obsessed by the Kryomek range. When I started on my aliens, I knew I wanted lots of them, so needed something simple, but I also didn't want to go down the black-and-drybrushed route, which is nice but has been done plenty of times already. In the end I settled on a scheme of bone, brown and green. Which goes something like this:
