I relieve you Sir... I am ready to be relieved...
« on: December 07, 2010, 06:19:12 PM »
Folks, just a quick update. Helen Bachaus a.k.a. Tank Girl, has returned to moderate this forum. As many of you will remember, she was the original mod here and briefly handed the ship over to me while she did some other things. I'd like you all to extend a warm welcome back to her!

I'll still be around of course and I'd like to offer my thanks to you all for making this board very easy to moderate over the last year and a bit. You're a great bunch of guys!

:)

Thank you kind folks, Nice to be back and looking forward to 2011.

Thanks very much Jim for all your support an I look forward in assisting where I can.

My interest in WW2 are Japanese, Chinese, USMC Raiders, Polish, Early Soviet, Finnish an Italians.

I look at this that the Polish can be used against the Soviets in 1939. The Soviets, naturally opposed to the Polish (the sneaks), Finnish an Italians. The remainder doesn't need any introduction.

At the moment I'm only wargaming with the Japanese against Michael's Australians. In time the remainder will occur.

I can see great advancements in 2011 for WW2 an I hope you can share your collections on this board too.

Happy gaming and collecting.

Helen

Best wishes,
Helen

Germans first though, Helen. Remember the old Polish aphorism - business then pleasure.

Thank you, Jim and welcome back Helen!

Inquiries has led us to believe Jim Hale is currently in exile in Paris where he spends his time playing canasta with Jean-Claude 'Bébé Doc' Duvalier.

Please, the autograph hunters and paparazzi get tiresome... and if one more photo gets published of me getting out of a limo 'commando', shrunken heads will roll!

Whilst others have doubted it, some even mocked the suggestion, I knew Jim still had the legs for it. Best wishes on the new career path Jim.

Dancing at the Moulin Rouge, it's quite the revolving door there these days.....

Actually I fancy Helen has been immersed in study.

Thanks Christopher. Have not been well, but recoverying and working on more commission work, study and pestering companies to make more models and miniatures for WW2.

Japanese are on the workbench an I hope to post some photos soon.

Cancon 2011 is Australia's premier Wargame convention held in Canberra on the last weekend of January, so I'm busy with some work on that front too.

Thanks for your welcome,

Helen
