Sounds revolting... but cool!

I reckon nice crumbly roman numerals with worms poking out of them would look good (if a total pain to paint!)round the rim - skullz can be overdone...  ;)

Cheers mate the Curse of the Leper Counter or as I am going to call him "Bub" (for those that have seen Day of the Dead) is finished, although I will probably redo the numbering not overly pleased with it but the rest I am and it works, rotates all the way round....it is well and truely fit for purpose.

Very clever!

Skulls and roman numerals! But where are the worms poking out of the eye sockets?!  ;)

:o This army is amazing.  Every figure has so much detail.  How did you give the metal that tarnished look?

@ Sangennaru

I have my moments :D and thanks for the support mate

@ Thantsants

No pleasing some people :P

@ Bloodysword

Thanks mate, and right there is the reason why I could never do a skaven army....I would end up painting 100's of clanrats to that standard and loose the will to live!

tarnished metal was done very easily....base of Parasite Brown (VGC) followed by a rough over brushing of Chainmail (VGC).  Glaze with Smoke Ink (VGC or VMC) at a ratio of 1:8 Smoke Ink/Glaze Medium.  Once dry glaze with Sepia Ink (VGC) at a ratio of 1:10 Sepia Ink/Glaze Medium........and your done

Absolutely stunning paint- and conversion-work, Mrdee.  This is certainly shaping up to be one of the best Nurgle Warhammer armies I think I've ever seen.  I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks dude, strong praise indeed, I have sort of started the Great Unclean One....well basecoated the skin, but at the moment I have a Thunderhawk Gunship (that I got for free from Forgeworld) I need to get finished before 25th April, which shouldn't be much of an issue.

Just got back from the doubles tournament.  We won pretty convincingly, 2 masacres and a solid victory......the chosen rocked the socks off EVERYTHING they came up against....Festus and the chosen champ managed to turn chaos knights into clan rats on horses which were then cut down in one round of combat by 40 clan rats....but moment of the tournament for me was Festus beating a Exaulted Hero in a due not once but twice.

I have some pictures of the entire army and I think the blog guys will be doing a feature on it, the top dog had a chat with me and loved them so maybe...but I am massively tired as I have had 4 hours sleep in the last 48 hours so I will sort them out later.

Oh and I managed to win best painted....which made my day

Awesome stuff.   ;D

For the leper marker, how about a severed rotten arm drooping down and pointing at the skulls instead?

The chosen look absolutely splendid and so does the curse of the leper marker, great work!

Thanks pal.  GW should be doing an army feature on it in the near future, they told me they were anyway, but it wouldn't surprise me if I get told they can't because I have too much blood on the models.  So you will have the full army shot you were after that they took if they do :D

Thanks matey, I love that idea might go back and do it if I get the time, I am at the moment in the middle of painting a thunderhawk (for me) and a dark eldar army (as a commission) so I am somewhat snowed under

Thanks mate, I had plenty of people stopping and staring at the army at Warhammer World whilst we played the tournament, also had a few interupt my mid game asking me alsorts of questions....felt like saying dudes can you not see I am in the middle of a timed game here! But still appreciation of my work makes me happy no matter what.  Think the interuptions annoyed the opposition more then me anyway :)
