Soon out: Gear Krieg Thor and Donner
« on: December 05, 2010, 11:58:56 AM »

The book - a pdf only version - is the 8th supplement to our Gear Krieg book. It will give you even more Two-Fisted Pulp Superscience German Walkers to use in your games of Battlefield Evolution: World at War. We are aiming at a December release!

The German Walker Compendium III: Thor and Donner is a comprehensive guide to using the German Thor superscience walker in Battlefield Evolution World at War: Gear Krieg.
The German Walker Compendium III: Thor and Donner takes a detailed look at the many types of this superscience walker for your German forces from all theatres and periods of World War II! Each vehicle is detailed with background information, factory variants, field modifications and a modelling guide.
Included are 13 Thor variants; Ausführung E to L, the “Flak-Donner”, Ausführung E2, F2 and X and even the rare Panzerbefehlskämpfer III and PzKpf IX “Jäger” prototype are covered; the book also provides new Traits, an AFV force list and an extended German armoury to add to your games of World at War: Gear Krieg.

As with our previous books, you will get in fact two books with this deal:
1.a full-color version with many high quality pictures of fully painted models, and in addition,
2.a black-and-white text-only, printer-friendly version
All units in this book are designed by the same principles as the existing vehicles in the Battlefield Evolution: World at War rulebook and Battlefield Evolution: Pacific War supplement (also written by Agis Neugebauer).

You will be able to download the book via the Wargame Vault as usual.
This book will require the use of Battlefield Evolution: World at War, available from Mongoose Publishing.

Another walker...

PzKpf VI Panzerbefehlskämpfer III
In Service:1942
A few Thor Panzerkämpfer were converted to command walkers and fitted with additional radio equipment. They mounted a pair of 3.2cm KpfK (Kämpfer Kanone) 90 cannons for defense, in addition to the hull's machinegun.
Because of the better maintenance, the Panzerbefehlskämpfer III was rarely troubled by random shutdowns of the Walker movement system.
Modeling Notes: The Command variant is built from the basic model: add two 3.2cm guns from the Axis Weapon pack (DP9-635) and discard the arms.

Agis,

Not to highjack the thread but i dont know if my previous messages got through but i cant see the pics. As i mentioned in messages anything from the www.adpublishing.de links havent been viewable for well over a month now. Doesnt matter if i use my PC or laptop or IE or FF.
Anyone else having this issue? Maybe a resolution for me? I used to be able to view them but recently cant as mentioned above. Anyone?  :-)

Well here is the funnyness of the issue.
1st, nope never have an issue with your main site at www.agisn.de no matter what internet browser i use.
2nd, going back to the not being able to view www.adpublishing.de site. Diesnt matter if i use the stand alone IE or FF it wont load. be it my PC or laptop. BUT if i open AOL and use the internal IE i can open www.adpublishing.de with no problems what so ever.
Now figure that one out.  :-)
