Nice work on the figures. Do you intend to finish the bases with some modelling snow? Also, I like the plane. Very fetching in the red-and-gold livery.

Well, the war years were a bit hard on the waistline I believe.

Actually, I am going to finish the bases in my standard pulp base finish of dirt and grass for gaming. Santa will do double duty as a pulp pilot and the Missus doubles as the dastardly air piratess Scarlet, the air mistress of Death!

As for the Lockheed Vega, I wish I could take credit for it, but I believe it is a pic of Ms. Earhart's Vega that I comped in.

Here's a pic where the color is a tad more accurate to the way it looks in the flesh.

I changed the background surface, toned the lighting back a bit, and then tweaked the jacket color. :grin:

sorry, for digging THAT one out, I am normally not into necromantic stuff ... but ...

could it be a great idea for some competition? Posting some postcards, we all got from our family - of found at the attic? Or maybe some pictures in an the adventures diary from our long lost grand-grand-grand-father?

Lockheed Vega, Does look like Erhart's, but I thought it was a model, not a real shot.
