Christmas in our house has been 'deferred', my little girl of 10 months had to be admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon so it's just been me and my son (her twin) at home last night and today, we've been in to see her and my wife and she's doing really well, finger's crossed she'll be home tomorrow. Didin't sleep much last night, but the house is clean!

Anyway, not how I wanted her or her brothers first Christmas to be, but I've spoken with St Nicholas and he's going to make a special one of visit as soon as she's home. Very odd day, be glad to see my bed but really looking forward to the Commander's unique Christmas celebration when she's home. Her brother has been an absolute little star for his dad today, bless him  

Bitterly cold here currently, huge amounts of snow down here in Devon and apparently more on the way, maybe I can actually relax enough soon to get my snowboard out for a little offpiste, fingers crossed!

Well my daughter came home yesterday afternoon, responded well to IV and is now on anti-biotics, she also has a ruptured eardrum from the infection, the other one might go, but looking at here today the drugs are doing the trick.

So nice to have her home, her twin brother was really sweet when she came back, bless. So Christmas Day was today, lovely food, very funny happy babies and two very releived and exhausted parents.
