Model Zone Sale - 1:48 JU52
« on: December 25, 2010, 11:55:07 AM »
On my home on Christmas Eve an noticed this in my local Model Zone sale section for £15 - plan to pick one up on Monday.

Great pulp plane in my opinion.

Agreed, and it has a removable top of the fuselage (sp?) great for customising for scenarios.

Looks awesome...but a Level 5 is quite daunting. Did one a loooooong time ago and IIRC it was quite hard to get right. So if you're not very good at building model planes I'd think twice before buying.

Thanks for the heads up there - but at £15 I'll give it a stab, if the worst comes to the worst it can always end up as battlefield debris/crashed objective for a scenario!

I'd like it, because I could probably find a use for it, but with a 60cm wing span it would be a bit cumbersome.

I tried to get a couple of them and some other bits. The Shopping Basket kept crashing and not taking the order. So FINALLY after 4 days of trying I get through to the payment section of the checkout, inputing all my details only to find that Australia isn't part of the system and so can't be shipped to!!! Not a happy camper!!!

Same thing happened to me. Finally got through and no USA. I have emailed them, but no response yet. (I know they were closed Mon/Tues.)

Funny that. I bought a Revell Junkers over the holidays too, though a different model of plane.
