Battlebus
« on: December 28, 2010, 08:45:09 PM »
Had this half finished for ages but now done thanks to the magic of Xmas (or Xmas holidays at least).

A post-apocalyptic Battlebus. Should eventually be part of a group for some nomadic types - as ever I have done vehicles before people.

That looks really neat!
The only thing that bothers me is that in the apocalypse at least 1 window should be broken :D.
The paint job is fantastic and so is the model. Great work!

The bus is a corgi 1/50 scale. Works perfectly for 28mm. They come up on eBay regularly. Keep your powder dry and you'll get one for less than £10. May be a little more expensive in the US, but then again maybe not as these are US style buses...

Pic below of an original. They also may great wrecks.

Very nice work! Lots of excellent bits added and very nice painting too. The only downer for me is the Orkish weapon on top which is a bit too beefy but otherwise splendid work!  :-*
