German farmhouse with garden
« on: December 30, 2010, 03:04:03 AM »
Really pleased with how this turned out....
20mm German Farmhouse from Byzantium Models http://www.byzantiummodels.co.uk/ with one of the outhouse/extention "plugs" added (from the same range)

base is hardboard with plastic sheet detailing - garden wall and fence are scratchbuilt!

BEAUTIFULLY WELL DONE! The paint job on the roof tiles is SPECTACULAR. The thing I like best, however, it the way you based it up...the setting makes the model something special.

Brilliant - the attention to detail (roof tiles, climbing ivy) is something I would have expected to see on a 28mm model!  :-*

Yea, it´s a pity he is doing all of his magic only in 20mm, isn´t it?

Lovely work.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história

Cracking piece of modelling with some nice detail touches.
I especially like the path with grass growing over the edges and with wear in the areas where there is more foot fall.  The ivy and other vegetation are convincingly done as well.  Top job!
Have you seen the rivets on that?
