Finally the steamcar failed a save against the Ironman's attacks. The rolled result was 'commander thrown fromm vehicle and is hit'. The commander failed his save so we decide the Ironman had forced open the door and dragged the screaming commander out, before tossing away his limp body.

I think, too often, our own games focus too narrowly on the rules and results, and forget the drama. I know I can be very terrible in this.

And this while also playing G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T., a ruleset that's based on play cinematic (jeu cinématographique? jeu cinématastique?). ;->=

Well done on seeing the stirring, bigger picture!

Hope the player running the steamcar actually hammed up some screams of the commander.  lol

Smashing looking game!

Good to see some Atlanteans getting in on the action too - there haven't been many games where the Atlanteans have joined in, and I've never seen the crystal-staffs used in anger.

You say Abner Ravenwood was incapacitated - was he injured at all? Any others of the main characters? Do I need to do some recuperation rolls for campaign purposes? If you and Dr De'Ath PM me if you have details of casualties I'll consult the oracles to tell you how they're doing.

Yes had a feeling the rules were GASLIGHT but thought Id ask just in case. I have been doing GASLIGHT for many years and have a large section of my Website devoted to it. I have played several games at Historicon with Buck Surdu and Chris Palmer (the authors) and Chris has visited me on the West Coast and played at my house.  o_o
