Do you know if it is larger than the Revell one ?

About 30% bigger I guess. Approximately in the middle between Revell kit and Kenner action toy.

I had heard that with Star Wars collectors 'size doesn't matter' is a frequently heard refrain. Good to get confirmation of the fact.  :D

I know that , but for collectors, it must be a comfort to hear it on those rare occasions they have any intimate contact with women other than their mothers ;)

Some may know this particular YT-1300 light freighter...


Just found this topic and as I am buying some of the kist myself just wanted to ask how people go about repainting/weathering them as I am new to that.

The countless panels of the Millenium Falcon were painted in different shades of grey, then washed black.

Fichtenfoo has a great tutorial on the Falcon, it's rather advanced stuff, but you should be able to simplify it and still get a great effect.
