Army List
« on: January 09, 2011, 02:14:37 PM »
Hi,
Just got my T&T Rules. After reading (love it  :-* ), i think the Rules will work very well with AVBCW!
I have the Sourcebook, but no Armylists for the different Fractions.
Have anyone created T&T compatible Armylists for this Game   ??? ???

cheers

Due to space restraints, the original rulebook only included the "generic" force generator, which allows you to build pretty much anything up to ca. 1939, with a focus on small and civil wars.

The first supplement, "Libertad o Muerte" includes a number of army lists to recreate forces of the Spanish Civil War. I have also written some lists (for future publication) treating the German Civil War, but beyond that, there is not too much "fixed stuff", since we considered it more important to leave the players with freedom to create their own forces rather than restrict them unduly.

The second supplement (on the Colonial Era) included lists for Afghanistan and the Sudan.

Basically, if you have a specific period you want to play, just do some research and draw up some basic definitions for your force (i.e. what kinds of weapons were available, which were rare, what vehicles could you use...).

If you come up with a list which you would like to show others, feel free to post it here.

As for AVBCW, the sourcebook available from Solway Crafts and Minis would be perfectly suitable, from what I've seen, it's quite comprehensive. Also, the militia lists in the SCW T&T book could be adapted.
