Repainting Dragon Ogres
« on: January 11, 2011, 11:32:29 AM »
X years ago (time flies....) I painted a few dragon ogres for my chaos army.

Only have the pictures of one of them, but this is how they looked:

After having fniished my chaos warriors and between putting together my war shrine, I thought it a good idea to update the Dragon Ogres.

Since this is an army for playing with, I keep it relativly simple, not a lot of subtle highlightes and so on, just trying to get the enitre army finished to an acceptable standerd in a month or two:

They are not yet done, but I wanted to show some progress (if only to motivate myself to continue)

Pretty happy with the skin and metal parts, next up are the scales....

Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Very nice repaint, though the originals weren't bad either, now they deserve to be finished 8)

Nice unit, I don`t know if you are done with the skin tones but they look great.

Oooh...  It's a shame the unit is practically finished, otherwise I might have take a go at him :)
Aah well, there is always the option to do him as a pet project.
