Atom12 Neo soviets
« on: January 07, 2011, 11:51:52 PM »
Always like sci fi gaming. And with doing the weird ww2 had some projects turn into some futuristic force. The first being neo soviets. And some other forces completed and working on (Americans, Japanese) as part of this world. Still do not know what rules using to play them. But will be add the lead adventure miniatures to this force soon.

Nice! I like the "Not-SRM-carrier" look of the missile tanks, although the launches would certainly benefit from some panel lines, or camouflage netting on top?

Also, what scale are those tanks, the T-72/80s in particular, and who makes them, if I may ask and if you know?

1/48 scale Kitech,I know cause he bought them off me when I didn't get my Neosov project off the ground  ::)
The neosov look great Adam, can't wait to face them from the other side of the table.
and this is how dumb I am.I bought most of the new Lead adventure Miniatures postapoc line then went to Copplestone and got some of his scavenger packs(not the dumb part). While I was there I re-bought the neosov packs that I sold to Adam(dumb part).

Looks nice, though I wouldn't mind some close ups of the miniatures. Can't really make out a lot of detail right now  :(
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Yes, they are Vor figs, had them lying around and thought they would fit in.

I paint other stuff, now I am back to historicals as trying to clean off a shelf or two.

Their are closer pics in the the gallery. Was sort of speed taking of pictures of most of the stuff painted over the last year.

Pete, what else is thier to say then stop selling or buying.

bigger, but not closer... you click on the image and then you get a fuzzy pixel blur... you need to trim your pics as well, you have a lot of dead space there... a lighter, larger sheet for you background will help as well, you'll get a curved background rather than the line you have now and the lighter colour will help your models stand out... and if you can't get a good single group shot of all of your stuff, do several smaller group shots...

I think I said I was speed taking of these pictures. Was taking a few hundred pics and a lot of stuff in one day and temp setup. As dealing with space issues. Was going for quantity not quality. Getting the big picture of everything.

Adam you are the master of big-huge-large armies. Now this makes me want to get some Vor Union troopers.

Actually no, my friend Pete (Fiterpete on here) has some larger armies then me, just trying to catch up to him.

Of course they always say go big or go home.

The Neo sovs, vanguard and power armored infantry look great!
Now you need to get some a few Ursa suits and some of the Muties.
Come to think of it, My Union force for Vor was one of the few projects I actually finished.
