And, so, I needed a small hangar for another project, and since that would be a cool place to have for various reasons, I built one.  I felt the Plasticville/Bachman ones were too small, and didn't feel like they were large enough...

I am definitively planning on building an interior later, but for now I just have the outer shell done.

Very nice. What did you make it from?

1/2" gatorfoam, a piece of pink insulation I sanded down to match the curve for the top, and various pieces left from a large number of MDF buildings I have been making.

About 12" x 12" x 6" tall - not huge, but bigger than the Plasticville.

And another flavor piece - trying to make a nice eating area to have near one of the food 'carts'.

I liked the way it came out, and I even left a little room for figures to stand.  I got a couple of orders of ultra cheap O scale furniture from a Chinese ebay seller, and it goes well with the lead tables and chairs from a Western set I picked up at a Bring&Buy.

Re: Post-Apocalyptia, Part Two - New pieces, with a little crossover...

Holy cow! I haven't posted anything post-apo for this long?

Well, these little beauties will also be used for crossover with Bolt Action, just like all of my Sarissa buildings.  Destroyed European buildings look a little bit like Boston...curious that.

So, what I was frustrated with was interiors.  Who doesn't love an interior, but gets frustrated with the fact that it is the same damned one every time, and that might keep you from say, transplanting that building into another game? So, my solution was - make little add-ins, you can pull and change.  I made a bunch of irregular shape baes, and started adding stuff. Some of these have a little paint on them already.

And here some of them are all painted up in the new habitat.

And here is a lot of finished ones stacked up.

I think they are coming along nicely.  I am going to do a few for outside as well, as evidenced by the barrels set.

Those 'drop-in' interiors are great.

Wonderful idea really well realised!

OH, that is a clever idea. Added to the bag'o'tricks!  :-*

Crikey. The Princess has gone down market.

That's a really good idea, well executed.

Yep, me too. Consider that a great idea firmly stolen.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway
