The Last for Tingtong - HMS Firefly Shore Party

Operating on the Yellow River, the HMS Firefly is a small paddle steamer converted into a makeshift gunboat in order to patrol the waterways of Tingtong and intercept contraband and weapons destined for the Jade Dragons. The Shore Party wear their white tropical uniforms, stained from almost constant operations around the jungle and swamps of the Yellow River delta. They wear locally produced equipment, their leather equipment and belts, long since rotted by the conditions.

Perry Naval Brigade painted in white, super quick job. This is my last unit for Tingtong and only got done as I wanted to test out a tin of Soft Tone dip that I bought. It gives a nice dirty effect on the white, just what I was looking for to do a load of Afghans...

Brillant!

Nice work!  :-* The soft tone gives them an excellent weathered look.
