The other stuff is nice, bit late timewise for me, but the Feral Martians need to be a complete range :o cheiftains, about ten variants with guns, swordsmen, cannon and crew, cavalry...

These are excellent, the Brits being particularly nice. I like the look of the feral martian as well.

Very nice.  Any comparison shots with other minis?  Having seen Moonfleet Sci-Fi figures at Salute a couple of years ago they were very small 28mm and wouldn't really fit in with the  Ironclad, Ratnik, Mutineer, Askari crowd.

Hi,

Thanks for the interest guys.

I don't know which miniatures you were looking at Sterling Moose but Moonfleet Miniatures are true 28mm? (They are 28mm foot to eye) they are not small 28's?? The B'Dass (Space Dwarves) and the Smoggers, also the Sci Fi cherubs are 28mm scale but smaller as this is appropriate for these races and this is stated on the front page of their sections but all the rest are true 28mm.

They are the same sculpter as alot of Ironclad so although I don't have any of these figures they should fit very well with them.

Jo:)

Thanks Jo, I see I'm going to have to order some then   :D.  The figures I saw at Salute included Sci-Fi stretcher bearers, casualties (?), scientists and a bunch of other stuff, memory is fading - I'm getting old!!

Hi,

Sounds like a few years ago and some of the early stuff? a couple of the scientists are female and therefore a bit shorter and a few of the ASP who had the original stretcher, casualty ands crew are stooping which makes them appear shorter so it may have been them? (The Feral cultist medic crew are the same as the others in the range.) (The Smoggers were also around then as well and they are definately small!)

Thanks for the interest.

Jo:)

Everytime I look at these I get more enthusiastic. For anyone who hasn't dealt with Black Cat Bases, btw, they are among the very best miniature companies that I have done business with. Excellent product and customer service. I'm not doing Brits at the moment, or probably anytime in the near future so my only dilema is how can I change the headgear without ruining the model?

I know, they are a lovely bunch. My other half, bless her, is obsessed with cats. The guy at the stall gave me a lovely mini of two cats sat next to each other, their tails forming a 'heart' shape. He told me 'Have one of these, to make her happy'! Once he did that, she stopped moaning about how extradited she felt because of all the men and now she can't wait until the next one!  :D

I think I owe them one!  ;)
