Crooked Claw Goblins
« on: May 22, 2012, 07:45:32 AM »
I´m slowly working my way through the range before the new releases arrive (juneish). It just took me 6 weeks to do the shields...
We want so much when we need so little. But the illumined man wants for nothing.

Will the new models be available in packs of their own or will you mix them with the existing models based on weapon type?

They sure looks great and very well painted. awesome stuff.

Saw the new greens at your blog, and they look very promissing. Especially nice to see some archers added to the range.

The minis are OH-SO-COOL & the brushwork/basing is TERRIFIC...this comes from a Goblin Guy who, at times, can be picky. VERY WELL DONE!
A link to where the minis are available would be helpful for us less well informed types.

Great skin colour (and the miniatures are top notch, of course)!
What's the recipe? I always fail doing stuff bright :(

He sure does ;)

These are actually a mix of old Rhoninstrom and Nemesis Goblins - but Pulper has now taken over the two ranges and will now add to those :)

You'll find all info about Crooked Claw here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=37851.0 - and also a link to pulper's blog/shop :D

Top paintjob, too!
The fleshtones and shields looking particularly well done.

The greens have plenty of character.
You should have Gobbo lovers dribbling into their bibs!

Nice painting and sculpts. Your effort wasn't wasted - I love the red on those shields!

What's the recipe?

Base of gretchin green

wash with a mix of dark blue and snot green

highlight by adding white to either snot green or VM medium green
mostly I added rotting flesh for the first highlights and some weird Rackham bright green in the final highlights

couple of glazes with yellow ink

The new minis will be sold in packs of five. The older ones will be rearranged in packs of five depending on weapons.
There will also be a packs of shields and Dave the Babarbarian.
