Airbrushing, Army Painter, pigments and painting minis on commission for several years help here. Furthermore red and brass are very frugal colors when it comes to highlighting.
We want so much when we need so little. But the illumined man wants for nothing.

Stunning selection of work as ever, blokes. Top class.

Now the month's properly over, I can post these.  :)

Chaos Champ and Grymn for me, all the rest for someone else. Thankfully, I noticed the mouldline on the Foundry orc and fixed it before returning it to him.  ::)

Getting back to a sensible output for the month, a total of 43 figures for me. A mixture of Dr Who, Warmachine, Strange Aeons and others

I've been making heavy weather of some Doctor Who conversions, so I painted up a handful of odds and ends to recharge my batteries.

A couple more triffids and a gardener:

Some trial colour schemes:

Back from the dead, almost.

I like the look of the Necrons.  It's a nice change up from the normal Terminator look.

January was Flames of war to me. 15mm NorthAfrican theater.

These Panzer III G is intended to look as the first Panzers that hit the african battlefields.
They still have the german gray colour and the markings from the 3rd Panzerdivision they originaly was intended to.
The roadweels on the tank was painted white in attempt to protect the rubber againtst the heat of the sun. In reality I guess that the sand and the rocky ground would rub of any painting on the wheels as I havn´t seen this on later African tanks.

Here we have a Afrika Schütsen platoon with some firesupport.

I'm not sure. ??? My random bits went straight into gaming and I already forgot, what was painted recently. Let's guess it was this:

Unrelated but painted anyway. These had been gathering dust in primed stage for ages and I wanted them off the queue. (What a soul-crushing job all those small, repetitive details were...)

Didn't even bother digging out the sea mat for pics. I hope next month will bring something a little more interesting and less tedious.
