White Russian Field Gun

I converted a red field gun for my whites yesterday..same as with the cossak standard bearers, CC released them after I converted mine :?:
Think the Tibetans could be nice..and red spears..the chinese red army was very poorly equiped at its start, so many soldiers carried spears. But I donīt know if the red spears represent these troops

Read up on the British invasion of Tibet in 1904. The invasion hapened because the British were trying to prevent the Russians getting into Tibet. In the end there were no Russians, but what if there were?

Also this happened just before the Russo-Japanese War, so enter a Japanese force (flown in to a high-altitude base by airship).

Then add a post-Boxer rebellion Chinese warlord, bandits and possibly Fu-Manchu.

Also remote monasteries and armed local troops.

For VSF influences add airships, steam vehicles and yetis.

Since this is pre-Russo-Japanese war my Japanese are in regulation uniforms from the Boxer Rebellion. I use mainly Paroom Station (London Warroom) troops since they cover infantry, cavalry and artillery, as well as their 'smoke stalkers' who I will use as mechanised infantry (wearing hoods and goggles to protect them against steam leaks and fires inside their transport vehicle). See my Displaced Miniatures Japanese gallery for pictures of some of these.

I also have some Pulp Figures japanese naval infantry that a friend brought back from Historicon.

Every time I hit the link to Copplestone's site my Internet Explorer gives an error message saying it has to close (er............and does) - anyone any ideas why? I am a bit of a technophobe so please keep it simple!

Thatīs because IE is baaaad and the work of the devil (ie Bill Gatesī boss).

That pretty much sums it up.

Seriously, Iīd recommend getting Mozilla Firefox for free, reading the "Tips for former IE users" manual (a short one), and maybe getting the IE skin, which makes the FFox look like IE, so you donīt have to worry about hitting the wrong buttons. FFox is safer and more comfortable than most IE variants, although it eats up a lot of RAM.

Have a look for yourself - just click the green "DOWNLOAD" button, and follow the instructions. http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/

Those Copplestone figs look really nice, maybe I should indulge myself in Back of Beyond, those miniatures certainly justify it!

The new castings like most of the Copplestone range look really good.   I have a bolshevik army on the go at he moment but could see the addition of a few mounted Chinese peasants.

The likelyhood of guides in a force is my excuse!

it's not only IE, the site tends to crash Opera, too, if I didn't close it separately..

I use Firefox (duh... who would have thought after the above rant!) and I never had problems with the CC site, especially ever since I used Adblock plus to block some of the elements ab initio which tended to a) take ages to load and b) were unnecessary to begin with...

I'll second that one, using Firefox and using adblock to stop that scrolling java news ticker thingy.
