Hi all,

I've been lurking for a little bit and threw my oar in recently. I'm a returnee to the hobby, spent a few years off it while I was at uni. At the moment I'm just getting started as a Hordes player, but the huge diversity on this forum is filling me with inspiration for cool games: post-apocalyptica I think will be the next one, although WWW2 is pretty tempting...

Anyway! Thanks to everyone who runs this forum and makes it what it is, it seems like a really nice community.

Hello and welcome.

If you find diversity inspiring, I'd say you're in exactly the right place. I came to find out what 'Back of Beyond' was many moons ago, and ended up more of less moving in with the VSF crowd, re-igniting my old fantasy army, getting loads of great ideas for sci-fi gaming and deciding to combine Jeeves and Wooster battling Cthuloid monstrosities with the middle of the Very British Civil War. It's that sort of place.
