Demon Dogs! Need help with a project idea

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, but I think "Other Adventures" covers post-apoc fantasy.  I want to do this:


in 28mm.  But, I'm a horrible sculptor.  I want to do minimal sculpting.
I think Thundarr will be the easiest to source as there are a lot of barbarians out there.  Ookla would take the most conversion I think, and I will need sugestions on the easiest fig to start with.  Ariel is turning out to be more difficult than I thought as well, there are a dearth of minis wearing only high heels.       I have considered using this:



reaper fig for her but would have to file down the V-neck, add high heels (feet in wrong position without major resculpting), make the boot cuffs less pointy, and fix the bracelets to make them longer.  Also she's a little too muscular for Ariel IMO.

 Suggestions welcome, your help is much appreciated. I am a long-time Hanna-Barbarian and would love to translate some of my favorite childhood toons into minis.

Also, that figure is twice as tall as a regular figure - you can tell by the triangles on the edge - 1/2" and 1".
