Just got back, seemed like a few traders were missing this year, but still busy and a good show as ever.

Bought hardly anything I went for, but several things that I didn't know I wanted.

Good job by the organisers with the charity dice thing for Help For Heroes, had raised £500 by about 1.00.

Said hello to Manic Miner and Paleskin off of the Frothers, but didn't spot anyone else around. Were you all hiding?

Really sorry I missed you - came in around 12h00, and left by 14h00, having looked around but seemed to have missed you (true shame). To my "defense", I had brought a friend who wanted to see a wargames show (and apparently was quite impressed), and since we had a museum visit lined up after that (unfortunately, it turned out to be closed before the 1st of April, gnah!), we left after I ran my errands and got some stuff for myself.

Happily met the Fastolfrian Trinity, Manic Miner and Ignatieff, but will admit that I was a bit "on the run" today.

I'll agree on the trader issue - overall, it seemed to have been a bit more "airy" than last year.

My travelling companion bailed so I decided to save my pennies for Hammerhead next weekend instead,

Had a great day at the show and got to meet more forum members.Kept a few chatting about other things planned and what they would like to see. Thanks to all that popped over.
Got a few 2000AD Foundry figures and a pack of Perry Samurai from Dave Thomas. My spending has really calmed down.
Looking forward to Hammerhead next weekend.

Couldn't get there, alas.  So I stayed home and painted Mrs Poggit instead.

That isn't a euphemism, by the way.
Back from the dead, almost.

Great show - was very pleased to make manic_miner's acquaintance (properly this time!) - got some great new minis and some great old ones too!

Even managed to give the wife some change when I got home so brownie points to me!  :D

Really sorry I missed you

Don't worry about it mate, there were that many people there I think I possibly walked past a few that I know while trying to avoid the many, many backpacks and socially inadequate, hygenically challenged community.

I'm glad your friend enjoyed it though.  :)
