Splintered Light Mice
« on: January 30, 2011, 05:23:55 PM »
Despite a problem with my matt varnish going glossy I am almost happy with the painting of the mice:

It it a shame the varnish took away the wash and highlights but at least I can play with these.

Have you tried spraying them with testors dullcoat?  Usually knocks everything back to matte and leaves enough tooth to let you reapply washes without beading.

I also brush Vallejo Matt medium on for a similar effect!
