Missed this first time round. Excellent project. Did the Irish let the Welsh and Scottish stay in Ireland after they kicked out the 'British'?

Nope. Celtic Republic of Ireland negociated the leaving of all the British people with the Royal Navy. These people, except few scottish who could survive on the islands/summits of Scotland, were transported to the Commonwealth (mainly India, Canada and Australia).

Note that this is an uchronia and that there is no mean to feed any dissension between Ireland and the United Kingdom...  :)

This is a great little project! I am happy that you brought it back to life.   :D

In fact the project has born on 2009 (when I bought all that miniatures from Baccus) but you're right this is the second year of the serious start of it. This is loooooooong project...  ::)

Only the second year? Pffft.. I have VSF projects that are at least five or six years old and still unfinished.

Too much "OOOOO! SHINY!" to stay focused.

No, no, I'm very slow but it was never totally inactive even if I don't update this topic. ;)

For example, my last painting job :

This not very interesting, that's why I don't talk about that kind of work here. ^^

I was thinking of some sort of united Celtic country for my VSF background, but I may just go with Glyndwr's war of independence being successful and there being a Wales and two Englands, which could be fun. Nice flood idea and moving the whole lot elsewhere.

Another useless picture. A little village which will be a good objective for my future test game.

True.  :-I

But it gives us cheer that progress is being made.  :)

It's a very pretty picture.

I like the statue in the middle of the village square.

I've made a little update of the Uchronia 1868 website with some news of the East of Europe :

I'm happy to show you my first special character for Uchronia 1868 : the French general Théodore Fournier and the Martian lieutenant M'Park, his bodygard and aide-de-camp.

Leading a group of martian war walkers, General Fournier
and Lieutenant M'Park are hunting a prussian blue dragon

Man it is really inspiring to see this stuff in 6mm scale.

IN fact I think it is inspiring to see anything in 6mm scale that isn't sci-fi!

It looks the business!

So uninteresting, we get to see it several times over.  lol

Really, quite understandable, but we are all heartened to see any progress.

Two things this forum does so well: 1) give hope and inspire those thrashing about on their own projects, 2) allow pointless cheerleading by those who who are just hopeless.  :D

Thanks so much!

And, just so Colonel O' Truth won't claim I'm unfair to his work, the saddle really should be over the saurian's haunches...  ;)
