Excelent work sir.

I might have to try a couple of similar contraptions myself.

Note to Self : I really must get round to posting my AVRE (Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers), based on a much  converted) Evil Empire Leman Rus Hull.

I think it was  possibly your engineers that gave me the idea a year or so ago..so thanks for being my muse.

We have playtested them using gaslight but the current hot tables for walkers or vehicles as exist really were not adequate for them, so we are writing some others. I use the royal 'we' as it's really Rabbitz expending all the brain energy on that one. But so far they've been very fun to play and slightly ludicrous in combat!

cheers!

Really great stuff there. So do they still call them Earthworks on Mars?

I was recently opining on the 'geography' of Mars and decided it should be called 'areography'.

But as 'earthworks' is from ancient German and not ancient Greek (more or less *eordeweorc), we'd have to find out what the ancient Germans called Mars.

Best bet I reckon is to assume as 'mardi' (Mars-day) is renderered 'Tuesday' (Tiw's day) in English, you'd have to call them 'Tue-works'. On Venus of course they'd by 'Fri-works' (and 'geography' would be 'aphroditography').

Some people think it's a disease, but I do this for fun.

Don't know about you, old boy, but I reside on a ball of earth called Terra.

However, as John Bigbooté used to say, it's not my goddamn planet.  lol
