Thanks Ray!

I'm declaring the Nef almost done:

Added a bomb dropping device and some more "bops"... I think that it'll be harder to see what's what when it's painted.

do you know I have spent years wondering what to do with those styrene balls. I have spent hours stood in hobby craft, thinking that these have got to be good for somthing. Now I know what!

Just remember to sand them and coat them with PVA (and do it again) before you paint them. Takes away the worst of the styrene look.

I started the first few painting steps... just basic colours so far. Which is nearly half way there as I just add weathering and more weathering from here on.

With steam

Without steam but with Scale Günther

The Kugelblitz is also getting there... I think it's done. I'm quite happy with the addition of the periscope.

I'll leave it to the imagination as to how it deploys the automatons. (a qualified guess would be through two holes at the bottom back part... one each side, but the connotations are disturbing).

I've added a turret with a "sonic reducer" to the Tube-2. The British Commander in Chief Nicholas Futterwick is bound to be pleased.

Also the turret can traverse! Ground breaking VSF tech in your face.

Also started painting the 'nef:

Now we know where the inspiration for R2-D2 came from.
