Kaptain Kneemo Marches

Battle last evening saw Kaptain Kneemo's expeditionary force engage a Swedish force. Roughly 1250 pts per side, Martian Empires Rule set.
The Swede's suffered bad moral rolls, causing their center units to advance and fall back several times. Their cavalry units on their right flank did a flanking march, entered the board several turns in to the game, charged the Kneemo's left flank.. and were shot down and finished off in hand to hand fighting. Kneemo's right flank was bogged down in command indecision for awhile but got rolling and used its fire power to hammer the Swede's left flank and send it packing.

Thanks for the report Alfrik.  I must admit those dice were some of the worst I've rolled in a long time.  Other than wiping out the light tank in 1 turn, I think I only caused 2 stands of casualties throughout the whole turn.  & after my 1st move on the board, my forces pretty much got stuck running back & forth until the Cavalry force's commander came on the board & got things moving on my right flank. 
At least the cavalry provided a nice screen for a few turns.

Nicely put Nils, I provided a screen for a few turns.  My Cavalry forces drew the fire away for the infantry for as long as they could.  Unfortunatly they ran out of bodies before Kneemos forces ran out of bullets.

Great game, fantastic terrain and Allen, thanks for the write up.  Looking forward to the campaign.
